The Naija Diaries|| Lost in the sauce

Hey all, hope you're all good?

I served several looks during my Nigeria trip (if I do say so myself) so of course these looks needed to be captured starting with this one. It's pretty casual; slogan tee, high-waisted jeans and a pair of 'bad and boujee' sunnies but there's something about the effortless slay that I love perhaps because of the awesome tee that I'm wearing! I love the shade of pink that its in and I love the gothic style of the font.
I got it when I went to black girl fest last year in October- which was a great event by the way, it made me proud to be surrounded by many creative, talented and beautiful black women all showing us the true meaning of black girl magic. If you missed out on it last year don't worry, black girl fest is returning this October (27th & 28th) so save that in your calendar. I spent quite a bit of money that day but it was worth it to support small, growing black businesses. I'll add a few of their instagrams profiles at the end of this post so you can see for yourself the amazing things they do and also support them by buying yourselves some cute stuff.
The tee is from a clothing brand called  'MELANIN MVMENT' (@melaninmvment) which is run by my one of my fave bloggers  the aesthetic lookbook. I came across Rebekah's blog sometime last year and instantly fell in love with her style then started following her on instagram (@iamnkirote) and we became online buddies. She was actually the one who invited me to black girl fest because she was going to be there selling her shirts and I'm really glad she did because I had a great time and it was also nice to finally meet her in person.

I believe the shirts are unisex so ladies AND gents, head on over to her site and get yourself one especially now that they're on sale! I'm keeping this post short and sweet so I'm going to end it here.

Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed it
Until next time, take care and God bless xoxo

P.S. Here are those instagram profiles as promised; @funkynchunky@dorcascreates@imagegang| @beccahuman@bonitaivieprints@cami_san28. You can also follow @blackgirlfest to see more talented ladies and also have a look at how last year's event went.
