Stripes, Wraps and Knee highs

Dress- New Look | Choker- Asos | Boots- New Look

Hello lovely people! Seasons Greetings! Merry Christmas!!!! (yeah I know it was 5 days ago but whatever).

I have been the absolute worst with this blogging thing but I really want to re-dedicate my time to it. I always have so many cool things to share but half the time I'm busy and the other half I'm busy being lazy. As we approach 2017 this will definitely  be one of my new year's resolutions!

I have been having the best time being at home and with family during this Christmas holiday. For one its taken my mind off all the stress of uni and it has also helped with my mood- the first term of my final has been a tough one so it's nice not being in that environment for 4 weeks (plus no January exams for once yasss). Christmas really is the most wonderful time of year, I don't know what it is but i always just have so much joy and love in my heart and I almost don't want it to end because then its back to the mundane reality which is life (wow, depressing much).

Anyways, moving on to my outfit- You know there are sometimes when you look at yourself and you're feeling like a million dollars? Well this was one of those moments!
I have wanted over the knee boots for a long time but all the ones i tried on never fit and I didn't think they suited me anyways (even though many people disagreed with me) but I found these on new look and they were in the wide fit section so I decided to give it a go, although I didn't have high hopes because I had just ordered some shoes from new look a few days earlier and they were too small!
But lo and behold they fit! And dare I say I look badass in them, I've been wearing them everywhere since I got them.

I absolutely love wrap dresses, I think they're so flattering and suit many body shapes and I love that its not bodycon- perfect during this festive period for hiding food babies :)

I can't believe 2016 is nearly over! I have to say its been an interesting one and I look forward to what 2017 brings.

Stay tuned for many cool posts to come (and I actually mean that, I won't disappear till March haha), enjoy what is left of your Christmas Holidays however long or short it is, and for those who are back at work...HANG IN THERE!

I wish you all a lovely end to 2016 and a wonderful and extremely blessed start to 2017 xx
